The Upstate SC Native Plant Society is currently working on a comprehensive botanical survey of Bald Rock Heritage Preserve. They have already had some exciting finds, such as Outcrop Ragweed (Ambrosia porcheri), which was just described as a new species in February this year. They may also have found a new species to be named in the future. Bald Rock continues to amaze and delight us!
