In five litter cleanups throughout the summer, 48 volunteers worked 48 man hours and collected 780 lbs. of litter, which was taken to a recycling center.

Visitors are often unaware of the purpose of a Heritage Preserve, that the property is owned and managed by the SC Department of Natural Resources, and the public’s responsibility to protect and preserve its natural resources. You can help spread the word, read the property regulations when you arrive, and take whatever you bring to Bald Rock with you when you leave.
