November 2025 Litter Pickup

As we near completion of our restoration mission, volunteers are invited to walk the trail and assess conditions since the entrance was relocated to 280 Persimmon Ridge Road.

Gloves, pickup sticks, trash bags, and water will be provided for litter pickup. We will meet in the parking lot on Persimmon Ridge Road. See our website for detailed directions.

You may want to bring a backpack to carry supplies on the trail.

Please note Persimmon Ridge Road is currently in poor condition, requiring drivers to use a low gear and proceed slowly.

If you have not already done so, we will ask you to read and sign a liability waiver before you begin the walk.

SAFETY FIRST! Please do not take any unnecessary risks while you are at Bald Rock Heritage Preserve.

If it is necessary to cancel the event, you will be notified by email before 3p the previous day.
