May 2023 Beat the Heat Litter Cleanup at Bald Rock Heritage Preserve

When temperatures rise, we start early to work in the coolest part of the day. Hope you will join us!
Summer brings more visitors and more litter.
We provide gloves, bags, and pickup sticks for litter pickup. A volunteer will take all the litter to a recycling center at the end of the event. Snacks, and water provided on site.
If you have not already signed an annual liability waiver, we will ask you to complete one before you begin work. If you have not yet joined, we invite you to become a member. Membership fees help us to recruit more volunteers, increase community outreach, and work with our partners to protect rare plants and animals.
Cancellation policy: If the event must be cancelled, we will email you by 3p the previous day. Please be sure to check your messages.
